Hey, I’m Stephen Brogli a sinner saved by the Grace of God that desires to Glorify Christ in all I do. I am also the Youth Pastor here at Lancaster Baptist Church. What an awesome privilege I have as I am able to minister to students on a daily basis. Ever since I graduated High School, God has put a unique calling on my life for young people. I desire so much to see students yield their lives to Christ. The heart of my ministry is seeing youth fall in love with Christ and surrender their lives to Him.
Top Priorities
Number #1 Priority: Relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is my Creator, my King, my Redeemer, He is my Everything. Everyday I live I desire to please my Heavenly Father. I desire to see Christ Exalted and His name made famous in Lancaster and throughout the world.
Number #2 Priority: My Wife.
God called me to love my wife as He loved the church and that’s what I intend to do. I love Elizabeth Susan Brogli so much. I will always remember June 9th 2007 when I married the girl of my prayers and dreams. Finding the woman God had for me was one of the biggest struggles I have ever had. I remember during the summer of 2006, I finally surrendered my search for a wife to God. That was one of the greatest moves I ever made. God blessed me beyond measure with such an awesome wife. Liz is the love of my life and there is nothing better than spending time with her. Liz and I love watching movies and cooking together. I even have Liz watching ballgames with me now. Praise God! Liz and I also set aside a day every week for date night. We simply love spending time together. We pray our marriage is a picture to the world of what God’s love looks like. Our marriage is not simply for our pleasure and enjoyment. Our marriage is for God’s Glory!
Number #3 Priority: My Family
Liz and I have a gift from God named Caden Douglas Brogli. Besides loving my wife as Christ love the church, I also have the responsibility of raising my children. At the current time, Liz and I have one beautiful baby boy, but if its God will we would like to have more children in the future. I deeply desire to raise Caden up in the fear of the Lord. My prayer is that Caden will love the Lord with all his heart. I pray often God will use Him in a mighty way. I’m a huge sports fan and played three sports in High school as well as football in college. So I am asked often about if Caden will play sports one day. I honestly can say I desire Caden to live completely for Christ. Whether he plays sports or whether he plays soccer instead of football isn’t a concern. I want Caden to live for Christ. Raising Children is a great privilege as well as a great responsibility.
Number #4 Priority: My ministry
I felt the call into the ministry around 5 years ago. Throughout my life I have had family members and friends tell me that God had a special calling on me, but I hadn’t felt that calling whatsoever. I truly felt God wanted me in the schools and that was to be my mission field. Now God has used my ministry in the schools and I praise His Holy name for that, but 4 years ago God revealed to me He had other plans for me. God had given me a deep desire to work with young people and He also gave me a specific call to Lancaster Baptist Church. Through prayer and God’s word I knew He was leading me to be the youth pastor at Lancaster Baptist Church. I didn’t understand or know how everything would work out but here we are now. When I finally surrender to the ministry 3 and half years ago, I surrender to go where He leads. Today He has me at LBC as the youth pastor of an awesome Church, but I understand God may lead elsewhere down the road. At this time in my life I know God has me exactly where He wants me to be. I feel without a doubt I am in the center of God’s will. Liz and I love our students here at LBC so much and I look forward to spending many special times together with them. I pray God will use me in a mighty way in their lives.
